FAQ

Minecraft Hosting FAQ

Quick answers to the questions people ask most before renting a Minecraft server.

How much RAM does my Minecraft server need?

Use the RAM guide as a starting point: 2 GB for Bedrock, at least 4 GB for Java, 6-8 GB for many plugins, 12 GB for light modpacks and 16-24 GB for heavy modpacks. Packages with 24-32 GB are available for larger communities. Adjust for your player count, mods and view distance.

Does it support Minecraft Java and Bedrock (mobile/MCPE)?

Yes. You can run Java (Vanilla, Paper, Fabric, Forge, NeoForge) or Bedrock. With Geyser, Bedrock players on mobile or console can join the same Java server.

How do I install a modpack?

Open the panel, search the catalog of more than 15,000 modpacks (for example Cobblemon, Pixelmon, Create or RLCraft) and install it with one click. Custom modpacks can be uploaded through the file manager.

Where are NexusCloud Minecraft servers located?

Servers are available in Jakarta and Singapore, close to players in Indonesia so ping stays low. A US location is coming soon.

Can I change the Minecraft version or server type?

Yes. You can switch between Vanilla, Paper, Fabric, Forge, NeoForge and Bedrock and pick the Minecraft version from the panel. Back up your world before changing software.

How long until my server is online after payment?

Servers are created automatically and are usually ready in under a minute once payment is confirmed.

Can I back up my world?

Yes. Every plan includes backup slots you can create and restore at any time from the panel. The number of slots depends on your plan.

How much does Minecraft hosting cost and how do I pay?

Prices start at Rp18.500/month. Choose a package with 2 GB to 32 GB of RAM to suit your server. You can pay by bank transfer, e-wallet or credit card, billed monthly.
